Hello all and welcome to season 5, episode 6 of 7 Demonology. As always, I am your friendly neighborhood ancient demonologist JJ. Today I bring you something truly special. So much so that I have created a whole new series, which I'm calling Case Files. While I won't promise that they will come on any set schedule, as they are very unique in nature, I can promise you that they will be entirely worth your time. Case files are deal with actual in-the-field events, whether they be exorcism or paranormal in nature, as told by those who led them.

Let me tell you, this first one is so chilling that I had a bottle of exercised holy water by my side during the entire conversation. In fact, while editing this episode, I discovered the second EVP or electronic voice phenomenon that I've ever found in the seven years that I've been creating Southern Demonology. One that fills me with dread. Okay, so here's a short clip of the original conversation.

Guest 14:30

Like I said, we were just gonna meet and just do a house blessing.

JJ Johnson4:35

And here's the very short EVP amplified. And one more. Now I've reviewed the video and I don't see anything mundane that can account for producing the sound. And I hate to say it, but it sounds like a demonic grunt. I might add that both this and the first DVP were recorded while talking to Father Birdsong while discussing the demonic or the kingdom. Anyway, I'm getting off topic.

This episode deals with the very recent case that Father Birdsong, an exorcist of 30 plus years experience, and his son, Deacon Josh, had just a few weeks ago, where they encountered an entity so powerful that not only had it cursed this particular house and the surrounding lands for generations, but it also had the ability to manifest smells, launch physical attacks, turn daylight into midnight in its domain, and begin the process of infecting one of the residents.

This conversation will be divided into two parts, as up to this point the house has required two separate exorcisms of place or locale. This first part, while beginning with some observations about the preparations of holy water before and after Vatican II Council, starts off proper with the prayer to St. Michael for protection and then gets into what actually happened on that first visit. And part two, we'll get into the second one. So sit back, relax, and maybe keep the lights on as we explore the very first case file, in which Father Birdsong himself has dubbed to be House on Haunted Hill.

Guest 16:48

You know, JJ, that's that's kind of quite funny what we were just talking about. And uh at any rate, for anyone that does not know, we were talking about holy water, and I told JJ that I would be sending him some. We were talking about the the different prayers, and but I I just I just gotta tell you, JJ, my heart, and this is just where I come from. I like the prayers where you actually exercise the water and the salt and then bless the mixture. Do you agree with that?

JJ Johnson7:23

I absolutely do. I will tell you this. So there was, I think that the true positive that came out of Vatican II was allowing native cultures to incorporate their own forms of worship and to be officially recognized. I think that was a truly positive step, right? But the downside of Vatican II, in my opinion, was that they then went on a purging spree and attempted to simplify things to a ridiculous amount, and in doing so, they artificially harmed the sacredness of a lot of practices.

And to me, one of the I mean, beyond the Latin Mass, and there are tons of traditional Catholic podcasts out there and videos that go over why the Latin Mass is so much better. I've never experienced a true Latin Mass, so I can't tell you one way or the other, and I'm sure you have a lot more insight into that than I ever would. But what I do know is that one of the key offenders of that simplification was creating holy water. Why don't you elaborate why don't you elaborate upon that? Because a lot of people probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

Guest 19:01

The early church. Well, let's just go all the way back to Acts chapter 10.

JJ Johnson9:06

Well, hold on. Well, let's just yeah, describe just how you make holy water, right?

Guest 19:12

Okay, well, all right. Well, with holy water, you you gather the water and the salt, and this can go all the way back to Elisha when he cleaned the streams of the water and purified them. But at first, because you know, we live in a natural world, so so through the power of God, we exercise the water and consecrate it unto God Himself and set it apart for a specific purpose. And then you exercise the salt. Why do we do that? Because you don't know who has handled that salt, right? And so and so we exercise that and set the salt aside. And I'm making this very, very simple.

But and then after that, you add just a little bit of salt to the water, and then you say the consecration prayer again, where you invoke or ask the Holy Spirit to uh breathe upon this mixture just like he did in uh Genesis, and to bring it to a level of consecrated life that is set apart for God in his purpose is to uh to do several things to bring uh healing to uh the waters, just like Elisha to bring deliverance from the demonic the presence is of whatever's going on, and to bring healing to the nations and healing to the people.

So what you're doing, this new water is it's kind of like baptism when you're washed and cleansed, so to speak, from original sin. That that is the purpose, and it brings that water is a representative or type of shadow of the Holy Spirit that brings life to any situation.

JJ Johnson11:13

Yeah, and to relate that back to just the ancient practices, and you know, in Judaism, this would essentially not that this is a Jewish practice, but it's essentially breathing ruch or a breath into the water.

Guest 111:29

Do you remember the Pusa Bespha?

JJ Johnson11:32

Yes.

Guest 111:33

I what happened? The angel of the Lord came down and what stirred the water, type and shadow of what we use today. This water and this salt that we have laid upon the altar and has been consecrated, has it's been stirred by the presence of the angels and archangels and the saints that have gone before us and set apart for for God's purpose. And if there's anything evil, whether it be physically, spiritually, or emotionally, it has to flee wherever it is sprinkled.

JJ Johnson12:11

Now, can you go through what changed since Vatican to to that right?

Guest 112:17

Well, what changed is and and I'm sorry, it really it aggravates me.

JJ Johnson12:23

Oh, it does me too.

Guest 112:25

But but they left out the exorcism part and just they left they even left out the salt, and I don't understand that because salt is a healing agent, it is a preserving agent. And salt in that time, it was a very precious thing. And but anyway, the the salt is left out, and it has the prayer just over water itself, it is not exercised anymore. I would dare say that I would even doubt that it's even consecrated because you're just seeing a simple little blessing. You you're just reading words, so to speak. There's there's no meaning to that.

Some of the things of Vatican II, just like you said, got watered down. And I think that's a mistake. Now, I have I have seen a Latin mass, and to experience that, although I didn't understand the word they were saying, I would not like it. But but I mean, I mean, my li I have tried to speak Latin. I I just can't do it. After two strokes in the age I am now, I just I just can't even attempt it.

But the the power that you experienced, and the first time I ever heard it, I was reminded of Acts chapter 10 that that speaking of the apostles, that they continue daily in the apostles' doctrine, in the breaking of the bread, you know, the table of the Lord, in the prayers of the people. Things that God has said in order sometimes don't necessarily need to be done away with. And as Josh said when we were talking before we hit the record button, sometimes we we may need to adhere to if it's not broke, don't fix it.

JJ Johnson14:17

I'm with you. You know what I'm talking about. To go over just real quick, like Father Mike, out of the goodness of his heart, I met with our fellow host of the Paranormal Rundown, of which we both belong, Dave. The second time that we have met. First time was in Tokyo, second time was he was driving through the area, we met at a sushi restaurant. Awesome! And then Father Mike had given him some gifts to give to me.

Some was this purified salt, and then the other was this very amazing bottle of holy water, which for the record I am keeping right by my desk because what we're going to be discussing tonight is uh something completely different.

And while we're on that topic, let me go ahead and introduce this is a segment of the show that I have been so looking forward to creating and sharing, and this is the very first official case file that we will be going over, and this is something in which both Father Mike and his son Deacon Josh actively participated in and led, and there's two parts to this, and we're going to be getting into that, but it it is chilling.

I have read the written accounts, I have heard them talking about it, and it is something Father Mike, you can correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to be on a on a whole nother level. Now you have 30 year uh plus experience in doing this type of deliverance work of exorcism, and yet this seemed to be a a step beyond even a lot of that.

Guest 116:23

I I would totally agree with you, but if you don't mind, JJ, will you indulge me and let me and Josh and you join together and say the prayer of Saint Michael?

JJ Johnson16:33

Yes, please, please. I would really appreciate that.

Guest 116:35

Amen. In the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell, Satan, and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Let me repeat one part of that again. May God rebuke you, Satan. In the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Whenever I pray that prayer, JJ, the exorcist in me just rises up, you know.

JJ Johnson17:16

It would have to. I mean, it is such a simple yet such a powerful prayer, and it gets straight to the point. It doesn't mince words, but then at the very end, because we this is the second time that we have gone through this and we experienced an audio bug in another platform we were using, and now we have switched over to Zoom because it is the old reliable and it can handle all this stuff as opposed to Riverside. But when you ended your original prayer, you also invoked other angels. Would you mind going through that piece just one more time?

Guest 117:59

What I did was this, and I tell you what, let's just add it to it.

JJ Johnson18:04

Please, sir. Uh just I don't complete without it.

Guest 118:08

Lord, hear our prayer. In your mercy, hear our prayer. Saint Michael, defend us. Saint Gabriel, speak to us, Saint Raphael, kill us, be our protection, O heavenly host, be our voice, be our guide, be our leader, and cause all heaven, the angels and the archangels and the saints that have gone before us to protect us and to guide us in this discussion. In the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

JJ Johnson18:40

If you don't mind, I'll throw in two last things to that as well. Yes, please. Saint Uriel, yes, I'll throw light upon us, and then I will throw in one piece of Dead Sea Stro's Lorem that I love to end my prayers on. I mean, I mean Sheila.

Guest 119:01

Oh, amen, amen. I love that. I love that. I I I I'm gonna remember that last part there. I love it. I don't know why Saint Uriel just he's he's the light bearer. He's the when I think of that, when I think of Saint Uriel and that light that comes from him, I think of the the glory of God. Does that make sense to you? The that that purifying, all-welcoming, setting apart light of the world. And the most reason why I like it in Saint Uriel for being that light is oh gracious, I lost it. It was it Zachariah or is that anyway?

That a light has shone in the darkness, speaking of Christ, even to the land of Zebulin and Naphtali, and in other words, even unto the Gentiles, even to the mixed nations, this this light is available for all. So that's yeah, that's that's amazing to me. I love it.

JJ Johnson20:08

And to me, I mean, I I know it is not official canon, I would never claim, unlike some mistakenly, that it is. Absolutely. These are the four, and Gabriel was sent to lead the Nephilim into battle of with each other. Michael was sent in order to deal with the Watchers personally, Uriel shone his harsh light upon the world, and then Rafael is the one who is responsible for the nation the deluge.

Guest 121:02

Absolutely, absolutely. I I love it, I love it. But before we get started on the case, do you mind do you mind if I give you a little background story of the whole day?

JJ Johnson21:15

Oh, I I would love that, yes. And and I'm gonna do it, Josh. I'm sorry. Uh you you you take your time, sir. There is no rush at all. Okay.

Guest 121:26

The day was I had committed to some things, but I didn't know that I didn't know that a there's no apologies.

JJ Johnson21:35

I I I kind of know where you're going with this, and I could not imagine how difficult and painful that could be to bring up.

Guest 121:44

I I didn't know that a uh dear friend and brother of mine who was he served as my deacon and the worship leader. And although he was he was twenty years my senior, he he called me his daddy. Unfortunately, passed away and we had his funeral on that day. That was hard enough. But what I'm about to say, even though it it was very rough, I want everyone to learn a lesson from my mistake.

Not too long ago, JJ and I did an episode, and if you've never heard it, I want I want everyone that if you think you're called into this quote unquote deliverance ministry, first thing I want you to do is just shut that phrase out of your mouth and ask yourself, are you called to be an exorcist? Let's just call it what it is. And if you're called to do things like that, JJ and I had a discussion on the do's and don'ts of exorcisms. And surprisingly, I left one part out, JJ, of that whole discussion. I mean, now that was a great discussion. I left it.

It was one of the best ones we've ever had. But but I left one part out, and I'm going to share that now. So here I am on this on this June 20th of 2024, just a couple of weeks ago. And I'm I'm mourning my my spiritual son and but my brother and my father. So right before the service, I get this call from uh another priest. Hey, uh, I got a lady coming that really needs to talk to you. I did that. Do you hear that breath?

JJ Johnson23:32

As if God hadn't put enough on your page.

Guest 123:36

Uh but knowing me, GJ, I said, okay, bring her on. And uh after the service, they came in. She has been experiencing some demonic oppression. Now, there's a difference between obsession and oppression. Obsession is when these things want to get familiar with you and get in your mind and start changing the way you think and all that kind of stuff. But oppression is when you start getting into real feelings of self-doubt and depression and ProFootball is back, and so are the predictions.

Guest 126:26

Absolutely. And and I'm unfortunately, JJ, that's part of my story. Oh, see, here we go again.

JJ Johnson26:33

Stuff that I already have on my notes, which you're already we are we are psychically linked sometimes. I know I don't know why.

Guest 126:43

You you got take 30 seconds and tell them that story about you didn't even see my notes that day, and you were going, tell tell them about that.

JJ Johnson26:53

Yeah, it it was really bizarre. And this is and and then we repeated that in our follow-up conversation. That I've only have aired the very first part of in season five. I'll have to release the second part of that one. But anyway, in our do's and don'ts of exorcism, which was in season four. In fact, I think I may have closed that out, so that may have been episode 13 of season four. We came into it, and I knew I had a few things I wanted to share. I knew that Father Mike was gonna lead the conversation because he is the one with all of the practical experience.

I just have theoretical experience, and I'm not gonna pretend like I have anything but that. How did you put it last time, Josh?

Guest 128:03

He he doesn't have his headphones on by the second.

JJ Johnson28:06

Ordained.

Guest 128:08

Oh yeah, ordained, or yeah, it it the conversation was ordained by God.

JJ Johnson28:12

That's yeah, that's what it was, and it really did feel like that. I have never been in such mental sync with another individual level before, and then we turned around and did it again. Yeah, so yeah, there is something going on, and I don't know what it is, but we're not drinking the same water. I can tell you that.

Guest 128:36

I would rather drink your water of Kentucky, right? Northern Virginia, Northern Virginia. Same difference.

JJ Johnson28:45

It's all up north somewhere. Who knows?

Guest 128:48

It's it's all in the Appalachian country. That's that's what matters. Yeah, I'd rather drink that water than the city of Thomason water.

JJ Johnson28:56

Tell you this, we have our water piped in from Quantico. Oh man. And our water bills are absolutely insane because of that. Wow. Because hey, they include garbage in with our water bill, but we're like $150 a month minimum just for just for water. So don't use it.

Guest 129:23

If Josh don't leave me alone, I'm gonna turn my camera toward him and you're gonna see me slap the snot out of you. Well, man, I don't know. He's a big old boy. He's making whoop his daddy now. I better leave him alone.

JJ Johnson29:36

I I wouldn't try him that hard.

Guest 129:38

I'm not, I'm not. Don't worry.

JJ Johnson29:39

I uh as my mom always said, you ain't never gotten too big for a whooping.

Guest 129:46

There you go. There you go. Back to the funeral. I have a hard time of saying no sometimes. So I agreed to talk to this person, but I already had a meeting that afternoon for someone that has been experiencing things in their home. So I agree to it. And uh, when the young young lady came in, she's been tormented by a lot of demonic thoughts. We'll call her Sarah. It really turned into a more of a spiritual counseling session.

Uh, no need for any great exorcism or anything like that, but but you have to understand that it's still taxing on a person to hear the Spirit of God speaking of what is happening to someone. That makes sense.

JJ Johnson30:39

Oh, uh uh of course it is. I mean, even if you were just doing active listening and fully engaged with the conversation, that devotes your entire attention, and that is not a light bit of concentration to go on, but then you're giving official advice and serving as a counselor, that adds extra responsibility, and then you're also trying to listen to God and to bring the entire conversation into Him.

Yeah, that's I mean, it's a lot on a regular basis, but then to pair that with a truly emotionally charged and painful day, and then you've got something else to go along with it, that's a lot to ask of anyone.

Guest 131:36

I and and and I agree, and you're gonna hear the price I paid here shortly, but so basically what I did then, and and I've met with her since then, and we're gonna have another meeting. With that being said, I just said we're gonna have three meetings. Well, we've had two and we're gonna have one more. You know, sometimes things are not one and done.

And unfortunately, in the I don't I hate to, I don't want to offend anyone, but unfortunately, in this deliverance ministry junk that people are spewing these days, you go to a weekend retreat and and then all of a sudden you're able to cast out demons. That is the most foolish thing that I have ever heard in my life. I just want to go on the record to say that. I'm not gonna offend anyone at my DJ.

JJ Johnson32:29

No, and I I I've I have said as much on the show before, I am in complete agreement with you on this point. This is not Hollywood. Exactly. If you you know get a certificate and take a crash course, you're not going to have a lifetime's worth of experience and understand what exactly you're getting into. Exactly. Going to a revival is not the same thing as taking this clearly seriously.

Guest 132:57

I totally agree. So, but but what what we did uh in in that in that I'll just call it the first case of the day, well the second. I just let her through very gently her renewal of her baptismal vows. And you know that that is a minor form of exorcism in itself, because you ask the questions, do you renounce Satan and all the evil forces of hell, right? And and the person says, Yes, I renounce them. And see, that's the whole point of this minor rite. So to well, the bat the sacrament of baptism is not a minor right.

What I'm saying, the minor right is that I just led her through the baptismal vows again, and not a major exorcism. That's what I mean by that. Right. We we did that, and and the young lady gained a lot of peace, and I even marked her again with the waters and said, I remind you that you have been baptized in the name of the Father, Son, the Holy Spirit, and that you have been marked as Christ's stone, you know, with the Holy Chris. And you know, that there's something powerful about those words. Think about that for a minute. You are now marked as Christ's stone. That really says a lot.

So going forward, after Josh and I got done with that, I just had to sit down for about 30 minutes and just what have I got myself into today? And so now we get to the the major part of our episode, I'll say.

JJ Johnson34:39

I was just wondering, can you give kind of background as to what prompted this individual to seek the help from the church and what she was experiencing?

Guest 134:53

Yes. Uh she has been experiencing a uh a lot of I'll just use the word paranormal activity. A lot of uh oppression, a sense of oppression, and really pressing, even to where people in the house would feel a pressure upon them on their chest and such. And uh they were unfortunately the the husband has been really uh attacked with uh severe depression and becoming a recluse. Uh Josh, you got anything to say about that too? Go ahead. Full of rage as well.

Guest 235:31

Rage, random acts of rage.

Guest 135:35

So a person that has been coming to the uh classes that you just joined in with, by the way, uh called me and said, I have this friend, and uh she has uh seen you on Facebook. I said, okay. And uh, but she's she she said she's a really good friend of mine. I I know her well. We spend a lot of time together and she really needs help. So even though the person that comes to the classes, they're I mean, they're not even a member of our our church, but she's one of my students, and I'm gonna take care of her, right? And uh so so yeah, I mean I said yes, I'll I'll I'll be there.

Meet me there uh because I've been training her too. So we met, and then I just I just want to go ahead and say this as a disclaimer to everyone there's something that you should never do in retrospect to our conversation on the do's and don'ts of exorcism, you never, never, never take on multiple battles with a demonic in one day, it is extremely dangerous. I broke a carnal rule of my own, one that I have told people many a time not to do. And if you ever find yourself in a highly emotional state and you got people asking you to do things, please take it from me.

Don't make the mistake I did after 33 years. Say no, say we'll have to schedule it for another time. So upon arriving at the home, and I told Josh, and I even I even told the the lady that's friends with the person of the home. I said, all right, well, we're just gonna come by and we're gonna talk before we do anything. And I told Josh, I said, there's no way that we are walking in there today and do a major exorcism. Like I said, we were just gonna meet and just do a house blessing. Well, what is a house blessing? It's a it's a very, very minor form of consecrating the house unto God.

It's I mean, it's it's a uh you could call it a minor form of exorcism if you want to, but we went through the home, we talked a while. She filled me in with everything that's been going on, especially with the acts of rage and uh the depression and the oppression, kind of like having Leviathan wrapped around your chest and constricting, if you know what I mean. But but we we started going from room to room, and as we started getting to the middle of the home, the home is three stories.

You have a a real big basement, stairs that go down, then you have the main living area, and then you have stairs that go up into the attic, which turns into a whole nother level. So, but when we got to, we had gone around the whole middle floor and then got to the stairwell that we we went to the stairwell last because I wanted to do that. But soon as we opened that door, JJ, the smell that came out of that door hit me and everyone else like a wave. It was a open the door or whatever no, soon as we opened the door, it was like a wave just wafted over you, just lofted over you.

Wow, and that I I I gotta tell you, that was the very first time that I've ever felt something that evil. It was pure, unadulterated evil. Well, smell like it was a very, it was very sulfuric, but a burning, you know. I've always I've always heard that, you know, your old farmers back in the day, if a cow died, they'd burn it, right? Right. And uh and and that was what a human would smell like if you were burning flesh. It had that burning flesh, sulfuric, it was just totally evil, it was nasty, it was it was diabolical. That's the only word I can use.

The smell was and and I smelled it for like three days afterwards. I mean, it was just terrible, terrible. I mean, I've heard stories of like that, but I've never experienced anything like that.

JJ Johnson40:20

Yeah, I this is a point that I really want to kind of drive home, and I've alluded to it in a few different episodes, but I've never like directly addressed it, and I kind of think that I want to. Whenever a lot of people think about exorcism, they tend to equate it to the Hollywood movies where there's traps lying around everywhere, and everyone is in mortal peril, and people are being thrown up against walls, and that's not the reality.

The reality is that it is much more mental and spiritual in nature, like and rarely does the demonic kind of engage in what I like to jokingly call gross displays of power, right? Right, but that does not seem to be the case here.

Guest 141:21

No, absolutely not, and so at that point I looked at Josh, didn't say a word, but he he he knew what I was saying in my mind. Oh god. So at that point, I I told the owner of the house, the lady, and the friend, to go sit in the family room and just pray. Do not come up these steps.

JJ Johnson41:50

Well, yeah, because you could not endanger them, you couldn't pull them to it. I mean, that makes total sense.

Guest 141:57

So I looked at Josh, I said, Huh, get the book ready. And I'm thinking to myself the whole time, what in the world have you got yourself into today?

JJ Johnson42:09

So we uh we we started you are directly combating this thing on its own territory, right?

Guest 242:21

And we were already running on E with a funeral that day and everything else.

Guest 142:26

Yeah, I mean, I mean, yeah, I was on E. So I'm like, oh god, you're gonna have to help me here. We started up the staircase, and soon as soon as I got to the top step, maybe three steps on the on the floor, the landing area. Something, and I'm gonna let Josh talk about this, but something hit me on my right temple. Yeah, and I would love to hear what Josh and I had I had the worst, I thought I was about to, I thought I was having a brain aneurysm or a stroke or something. I mean, it it almost took me out. It hurt so bad. But go ahead, Josh.

Guest 243:12

Yeah, as we were coming up the stairs, I saw from the ceiling of the attic from the from the rafters, it looked like um a pair of talons made of shadow just reached down and scratched the side of his head. It looked like a bird's talons.

Guest 143:33

That gives me chills just thinking about it again.

JJ Johnson43:36

Just the mental imagery of it, and to see something materialize and then inflict harm upon your own father.

Guest 143:45

That yeah, he unfortunately I the picture got gone, but he took a picture and I had I had three faint scratch scratch marks across my temple.

JJ Johnson43:57

Well, the fact that it was just a glance. Blow to begin with. What if it was more?

Guest 244:04

I mean it that alone it looked like a faint um a faint bruise lined down the side of his right temple.

JJ Johnson44:15

That's just it's crazy. I mean that just I mean, not only to be able to manifest the smell that is so pungent that it almost takes you out, but but then to be able to physically assault that is something different.

Well, after that point, I mean, I I I gotta be, I got I'm gonna be very transparent because I've been on your show telling people what not to do. But I'm gonna be very transparent this time and say, after 33 years, I've learned one thing that I don't know everything. And I I'm gonna tell you the whole story because it wiped me out. And so after that happened I had no choice. I was all of a sudden sweating profusely, and the room just now. Please understand that I'm saying this is this is the top level, okay?

And there's windows up there, there's daylight up there, but all of a sudden, it got it was like midnight. I could I couldn't even see to read hardly. Wow, and so uh there was a little sliver of light in one area, and uh, although there's windows around, uh adjusted myself where I could get to the prayers because that was the only thing that I was thinking about at that time, get to the prayers, but I had to uh we saw this little bench or something, and I said, I and I had to tell Josh, help me sit down before I fall, and so we went to war, and of course I'm in a position now.

No, Mike, you're going to have to do a major exorcism today.

JJ Johnson46:09

Bless y'all's heart.

Guest 146:10

And so we uh we pushed through it and we continued the right, and I could tell on Josh's face that even he was getting very concerned about me, and he moved around to my left shoulder, I believe. And he even reached in his pocket and grabbed his rosary and went to war. As soon as I was pushing through it, but I was very forceful. I mean, I don't I don't know how I made it. I don't know how I was breathing. I gotta be honest with you, I was I was spent already. I told Josh, I said, I said, go to the other parts of this floor and find the source.

And he did while I was continuing on, he was taking his part too, but he was walking around at the same time at that point. And he found a room, I think it was adjacent to the old restroom that was up there. That's where we felt this just overcoming presence. And to come to find out, not only in the basement, but there as well in the upstairs part, some unappropriate actions have happened to a young girl. How about that?

JJ Johnson47:32

Yeah, I think that's a safe way, man.

Guest 147:34

Yeah. So that's where we felt the entity the most. And then Josh said, Bring the holy water here. And I started the prayer of exorcism all over again. Saints, let me tell you, one and one sometimes is not done. Why do you repeat these prayers all the time? Because they work. Plain and simple. For 2024 years, they've worked. Let's not change it up. So once we've finished, and I'm fast-forwarding big time, but we ProFoot is back, and so are the predictions.

Once we finished the air in that area, it felt a lot lighter. And I could even you remember the smell that I told you that was in the beginning.

JJ Johnson50:05

Yep.

Guest 150:06

I began to smell a more, I'll call it fresh floral scent. Does that make sense to you?

JJ Johnson50:14

It does.

Guest 150:15

And that let me know that the tide was changing, so to speak. So I felt released to get out of there. Let's let's say the fight for another day. We got a good start. It's time for you to leave, or you're gonna regret it.

JJ Johnson50:34

Right.

Guest 150:35

So we got into back to the family room. And as soon as we walked into the family room, the the owner of the house said it felt better than she'd seen it in a long time. And I sat down, JJ. At first I was embarrassed, but then I didn't care. I sat down and drank a glass of water in about two seconds. All I could do was weep. I wept.

JJ Johnson51:06

Deep on deep. Something like that. I I mean, not just only the pain that the day had brought on, but to go through such an intense situation as that, knowing that you were also there to help the people and to help protect them.

Guest 151:25

My god, I want to cry now. Uh just thinking about it. But you're right. I I'm sorry, I I interrupted you, JJ. I'm sorry.

JJ Johnson51:33

No, no, I that was pretty much it. I I was amazed that if you would not have openly wept for 10 minutes, like you said.

Guest 151:44

I mean I mean it was it just but but but the thing about it, JJ, it was a although there was so much pressure from the weeping, it was a refreshing weeping. And I don't know how to explain that. Refreshing weep.

JJ Johnson52:01

It's almost like your soul was expunging whatever toxicity that you had. Exactly.

Guest 152:09

That's a great way of explaining. You just said it absolutely correct. I like that. After that, we spoke for just a few more. You got something? Oh, I thought she was waving at me. Sorry. After that, we just well, what I did first now. Remember, remember that I said that I've always got an entry and an exit plan. And so after that, I had everyone pray for me a center, and because we needed it. I mean, of course, I blessed each and every one of them, but you know what, Father Mike needed it too.

And I asked him, I said, I called the student by name, and uh we'll call her Lily, and the owner of the house, I said, Sarah, I think, or whatever, but I said, now I need prayer. They were they almost teared up because I asked them, I said, no, I'm serious, come pray for me. I need it. So they did, and the conversation went on probably 10 more minutes, and I just encouraged them. And I said, Miss Sarah, you know that this is not one and done. She says, Oh, I know. And she said, Can you leave that holy water with me? I said, You betcha.

She went through the whole ball in one day and called me the next day and asked for another. But there's a whole story about that, but that goes into part two. That is the major of the encounter, and but if you don't mind, I want to now it's your show, JJ. So I broke this up in part one and part two because part two, unfortunately, I could not go. And I trust Josh enough to take care of business. Can we can we make like a part two and let him tell his story?

JJ Johnson54:08

Oh, that's exactly what I wanted. Because I would love to get both perspectives of what happened. Thank you for listening to Southern Demonology.
